Art Performance for Reunification Given by Korean Youth, Students in Japan

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- An art performance for reunification "Reunification with Songs" was given by Korean youth and students in Japan at the Education Hall of Japan in Tokyo on October 10 to mark the ninth anniversary of the publication of the historic October 4 declaration under the sponsorship of the Council of Youth and Students of the Japanese Regional Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration.

Prior to the performance speakers called upon the Korean youth and students to vigorously usher in the second June 15 era under the unfurled banner of the October 4 declaration by inheriting the spirit and tradition of the preceding generation.

Put on the stage were chorus "Our Banner," piano play "Korea Is One" and other colorful numbers.

An appeal to youth and students in the north and the south was read out.

It called upon the youth and students in the north, the south and abroad to become the standard-bearers and vanguard displaying the second enthusiasm for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration for peace and prosperity.
