DPRK Team Qualified to Advance into Semifinals of 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup

| Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The DPRK team advanced into semifinals of the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. It tied England 3:3 and trounced its Brazilian and Nigerian rivals 1:0 and 3:0 in league matches respectively to advance into the quarterfinals as the winner in Group C. It beat its Ghanaian rival from Group D 2:1 on October 13. It will play semifinals with its Venezuelan rival on Oct. 17. |
