Emulation Movement Brisk in Railway Sector

| Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- A socialist emulation movement was launched at the Ministry of Railways in the DPRK to carry by rail more building and other materials to the flood-hit northern part of the country. According to data available at the ministry, freight traffic to the disaster areas per day went up 1.5 times that before the start of emulation movement. As of October 11, the ministry was transporting 91.9 percent of the total amount of cement needed for the flood damage rehabilitation. Taking part in the movement are Pyongyang, Hamhung and Chongjin railway bureaus under the ministry. |
