Yonhap News, KBS, Dong-A Ilbo and other conservative media of south Korea, echoing the anti-DPRK invectives spouted by the Park group keen on confrontation with the compatriots in the north, are busy with false propaganda about the non-existent "human rights issue" in the DPRK, discarding their original mission as media, the statement said, and went on:

Being mouthpieces of the Park group, they are spreading misinformation provided by the puppet Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Unification. They are frantically inciting confrontation with the compatriots in the north with all sorts of lies and fabrications, deceiving the people and swimming against the trend of the times towards reunification.

Their smear campaign is just the last-ditch attempt of those displeased with everything going well in the DPRK and taken aback by its ever-increasing might. It, therefore, does not deserve even a passing note.

The service personnel and people of the DPRK are now dashing ahead like the wind to build a socialist power, frustrating the enemies' persistent sanctions and blockade to stifle the DPRK through an all-out drive for creation in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development-first principle.

Reptile media like Yonhap News, KBS and Dong-A Ilbo are shutting eyes to the stirring reality in the DPRK and keen on red herrings, quoting "news from the spot" and " new from overseas compatriots" which lack sources and are baseless in a bid to make information spread by them sound plausible.

Today the north-south ties have been pushed to the lowest ebb and the distrust and hostility between the north and the south have reached an extreme phase. The conservative media are also accountable for this situation as they have echoed the reckless remarks of the confrontation maniac of Chongwadae.

Taking this opportunity, we once again strongly warn the puppet media organizations including Yonhap News, KBS and Dong-A Ilbo against taking the lead in the anti-DPRK smear campaign.

The conservative media organizations and die-hard pseudo-journalists have no future and will have to pay dearly for the sins they committed by rubbing salt in the wounds of the compatriots, pursuant to Park's policy of confrontation with the DPRK under this grave situation.
