The course of the glorious struggle of the Korean revolution for nine decades since the formation of the DIU which declared a fresh start of the Korean revolution represents a proud history in which it has fully demonstrated the invincible cause of the DIU.

The invincibility and eternal viability of the cause of the DIU are based on the idea and feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The glorious tradition of the DIU was established by Kim Il Sung.

He founded the immortal Juche idea, remarkably strengthened the driving force of the revolution, successfully accomplished the cause of building the party, army and state with the first generation of the Songun revolution as its core and turned the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defense.
