Drive for Increased Production Brisk in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, have conducted a vigorous drive for increased production to supply more consumer goods and building materials to the flood-hit northern part of the country. The Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill turned out hundreds of thousands of meters of cloth and the Pyongyang Mechanical Pencil Factory tens of thousands of mechanical pencils in a short span of time. Knitwear and daily necessities factories provided a great deal of quality underwear and vinyl sheets, plastic pipes, packing container, waterproof cloth and other goods to the disaster areas. The Pyongyang Metallic Building Materials Factory doubled daily production plan and the Taesong Ceramic Factory finished the planned sanitary ware production in 10 days. |
