Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books and photos introducing the struggle of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and full-length pictures of the great leaders standing together and paid tribute to them.

"Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers' Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un", "Monument to Party Founding" and other Korean films were shown.

The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that Kim Il Sung founded the WPK on Oct. 10, 1945 and developed it into the party of the working masses. The WPK is leading the Korean people's drive for building a socialist power to victory, he added.

The first deputy general secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea noted that the great feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the building of the revolutionary party of Juche, anti-imperialist national liberation struggle, national reunification and the cause of human independence are still remembered by the people of Equatorial Guinea.

Meanwhile, the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao-DPRK Friendship Association, the Venezuelan Embassy in Beijing and different units of China sent floral baskets to the DPRK missions in relevant countries.
