According to Jon In Sok, head of a department of the General Bureau of National Software Industry, more than 1,000 pieces of IT successes and products were presented to the exhibition on the theme of "Self-development-first principle, enthusiasm for collectivist emulation and international competitiveness".

Taking part in the exhibition were not only scientists and technicians but also workers, clerks and students.

The ten best IT products, selected at the exhibition, include a program for video meeting developed by the IT Institute under Kim Il Sung University and an authentication system by the Pyongyang Information Technology Bureau.

Ri Kum Sun, an official of the General Bureau of National Software Industry, said that the general bureau will host the exhibition every year.
