Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea protested against the humiliating acts of the puppet group insulting the victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to the Voice of Seoul, south Korean internet newspaper, on Oct. 14. The "Reconciliation and Recovery Foundation" formed as part of the implementation of the "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery held a consultative meeting that day and decided to pay 1 billion yen granted by Japan to victims of the sexual slavery against their will. Enraged by this, the council made public a statement declaring that the action means retreat of justice and history. The statement deplored the Park Geun Hye regime keeping the promise made with Japan, bound to the verbal "agreement". It said that the rights of victims subject to serious human rights abuses can never be violated by the humiliating "agreement", adding that all the victims and bereaved families have the right to demand the proper settlement of the issue and get reparation. Articles denouncing the puppet group for pressing for the implementation of the shackling "agreement" are posted on websites in succession. |
