In the message the first secretary extended sincere and warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the WPK, organizer and inspirer of victory of the Korean people in their struggle for national liberation, the country's independence, protection of sovereignty, bolstering of national defence capability and the building of socialist society on behalf of the C.C., the Ukrainian Communist Party and on his own behalf.

The message said that under the leadership of Kim Jong Un the WPK has confidently and successfully developed all fields of socialist national economy in the DPRK and the military affairs, science, culture and arts and this made it possible for it to stand firm against the U.S.-led world imperialists which stand in the way of the DPRK's creative domestic and foreign policies.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the Korean comrades fresh successes in the work for carrying out the tasks set forth at the Seventh Congress of the WPK.
