Anniversary of Jangjasan Revolutionary Museum Marked
Kanggye, October 22 (KCNA) -- The Jangjasan Revolutionary Museum marked its 40th founding anniversary.

The museum situated in Kanggye City, Jagang Province tells about immortal footsteps left by leader Kim Jong Il during the Fatherland Liberation War. It is a significant historical site associated with the long journey of revolution the great men of the Mangyongdae family made for three generations for the country and its people.

Over the past four decades since its founding on Oct. 22, Juche 65 (1976), the museum has performed its role as a historic witness conveying long the revolutionary intention and immortal footsteps of the great leaders and made achievements in thoroughly preparing the Korean people and school youth and children as successors to the cause of the Juche revolution.

A meeting marking the anniversary took place on Saturday.
