Schoolchildren in Flood-afflicted Areas of Northern Part of North Hamgyong Province Start Camping

Wonsan, October 23 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren in the flood-afflicted areas of the northern part of North Hamgyong Province started camping at the Songdowon International Children's Camp.

The ceremony for starting camping was held on Oct. 21.

All the campers and teachers laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il at the Songdowon International Children's Camp and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were officials concerned, teachers of the camp and campers.

At the end of the meeting, there took place an art performance given by the teachers of the camp for the campers.
