S. Korean Civic and Public Organizations Slam U.S. and S. Korean Puppet Authorities' War Confab

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations in south Korea including the Action for Checking THAAD Deployment held a press conference in Seoul on Oct. 20 denouncing the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces' confab to bring about a nuclear war to the Korean peninsula, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

The organization in a press release said that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities will hold an annual security consultative meeting and discuss the period and way of THAAD development.

They are seeking to discuss the proposal to increase effect of the extended deterrence including the constant deployment of U.S. Aegis destroyer in south Korea and the problem for concluding a military agreement with Japan, the press release noted.

The press release declared that the organizations will strive to check THAAD deployment by the efforts of the people including inhabitants in Songju and Kimchon and religionists of Won Buddhism.
