Taejon Citizens in S. Korea Call for Ending Park Geun Hye Regime

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- 74 civic, public and religious organizations in south Korea including the Taejon Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, the Taejon Solidarity Council of Civic and Public Organizations and the Taejon Council of Christian Churches, and the Taejon Movement Headquarters for the Defence of Democracy grouping branches of political parties held a meeting on the situation in Taejon on Oct. 20, according to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News.

At the meeting the speakers said that they had a meeting to inform about the citizen's anger at the present regime which makes desperate efforts to stay in power and protect its stooges.

The Taejon citizens' appeal on the situation was announced. It underscored the need to probe the truth behind the death of peasant Paek Nam Gi and punish those responsible.

It called for judging the Park Geun Hye regime as it tramples down the right to existence of workers, peasants, the poor and other people and brings about a war to the Korean peninsula.
