Koreans in U.S. Stage Anti-War Peace Action

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. simultaneously staged actions for peace against war in major cities such as Washington, New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia on Oct. 21 in protest against the THAAD deployment in south Korea and the U.S. war moves, according to a report.

The participants said that the THAAD deployment and the U.S. forces presence overseas are increasing the danger of war worldwide.

In order to preserve peace on the Korean peninsula, it is necessary for the U.S. troops to quit south Korea, they noted.

Bitterly denouncing the U.S. belligerent policy, they strongly demanded the U.S. stop war moves and withdraw its forces from south Korea.

In the evening they marched streets with candlelights in their hands.
