Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary observes in this regard:

The U.S. saber-rattling driving the situation on the Korean peninsula to the worst phase can never be regarded as an ordinary and annual one.

The main purpose of the naval maneuver staged by the U.S. and its vassal forces is to round off the system for preemptive attack on the DPRK and ignite a war at any cost.

In other words, the sinister aim sought by the U.S. in bringing strategic assets to south Korea is to escalate the tension on the Korean peninsula and provoke the second Korean war any moment.

The U.S. is the root cause of escalated tension of the Korean peninsula and cancer-like entity disturbing world peace.

The U.S. is persistently threatening the DPRK with nuclear strike means while escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula. Under this condition it is natural for the DPRK to steadily bolster up preemptive nuclear attack capability which can pose constant threat to the U.S.

Military and technical superiority is no longer a monopoly of the U.S.

Gone are days never to return when the U.S. imperialists could threaten the DPRK with nukes.

It is the steadfast will of all the service personnel and people of the DPRK to write a history of final ruin of the United States of America if the U.S. imperialists ignite a war again.
