Choe Ryong Hae in a congratulatory speech said that the achievements made by girls footballers at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup greatly encouraged all service personnel and people.

He called upon players and coaches to make redoubled efforts to create legendary stories about sports by winning one victory after another in international games.

Chief Coach Sin Jong Bok and player Pak Hye Gyong in their reply speeches said that they could win the recent world cup in the wake of the 2015 AFC U-16 Women's Championship as they intensified their day-to-day training.
