Park has been hell-bent on reviving the "yusin" fascist rule, unpopular rule, confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north, sycophancy and acts of treachery. Recently she has run the whole gamut of intrigues to tide over the political crisis caused by the largest-ever scandal related to the clan of Choe including Choe Thae Min, who had been deeply involved in south Korean politics, having intimate relations with her from the period of the rule of her father and his daughter Choe Sun Sil, etc.

She tried to avoid investigation into the case and finally let Choe Sun Sil and her daughter hide in a foreign country and totally denied the suspicion about the scandal. Finding it hard to calm down the south Korean people's uproar with any gimmick, Park Geun Hye in her speech at the "National Assembly" on October 24 declared the start of the "constitutional revision" calling for amending the single-term system for the "presidency".

She, however, could not escape the bitter rebuff and condemnation from south Koreans of different social standings that as soon as she touted the "constitutional revision," it was nothing but a cynical ploy to divert the public criticism of "Choe Sun Sil Gate" to "constitutional revision" in a bid to serve out the term of her office and stay in power after her resignation.

Against this backdrop the south Korean radio JTBC succeeded in searching Park's draft speeches and many files corrected by Choe Sun Sil from a computer left by Choe before her flight and opened them to media.

Now people of all social standings in south Korea including political, public and media circles are shaking with anger after the suspicion about Choe Sun Sil's interference in state affairs was proved to be true.

Much upset by the spilling over of "Choe Sun Sil Gate" to "Park Geun Hye Gate," she hastily held a press conference on October 25.

She admitted that Choe Sun Sil corrected her draft speeches and was compelled to make an apology to the people.

The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, students bodies in different regions, the Headquarters of Struggle for Paek Nam Gi, the Headquarters of All-People Action to Punish Lee Myung Bak-Park Geun Hye and other civic and public organizations released declarations on the situation and statements and launched solidarity struggle in demand of Park's ouster.

Lawmakers from the ruling "Saenuri Party" who had no relationship with Park are demanding a special investigation, total reshuffle of Chongwadae and Park's ouster from the party.

On Oct. 26, the "Saenuri Party" held an emergency general meeting of lawmakers and decided to accept the special investigation demanded by the opposition parties and declared that the "president" would not be an exception from punishment if crimes are brought to light.

Foreign press reports said there is a political storm in south Korea as the political crisis of the Park group has become most serious.
