The school has won 9th straight victories at the annual national computer contest of students from secondary schools No. 1 in the country, producing more than 10 gold medalists.

It took the first place at a national foreign language conversation contest held recently with the attendance of several hundred students from 20-odd secondary schools No. 1. And its students showed good results at the 8th national quick reading contest.

Noting that students' scholarly performance depends on the abilities of teachers, Kim Yong Sik, head of the school, told KCNA:

The school has completed all multimedia on teaching programs for the universal 12-year compulsory education.

We, teachers, will strive to raise the cognitive effect of education to the maximum so as to produce more competent talents for the nation.
