Present at the meeting were Choe Ryong Hae, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the participants in the congress and other workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the C.C., GFTUK, made a report which was followed by resolution speeches.

The reporter and speakers said the historic letter of Kim Jong Un is the immortal and great programme clearly indicating the way for the sacred struggle of the working class and trade union members to fulfill their duty before the times and the revolution as required by the era of leaping progress for accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution and model the GFTUK on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

They called upon all the workers and trade union members to fulfill their honorable mission and duty before the country and the revolution, always bearing in mind the trust and expectation of Kim Jong Un.

They called for fully displaying the militant spirit and might of the heroic working class of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and making an active contribution to hastening final victory in the building of a socialist power.
