The speakers referred to the issues of deeply grasping the basic idea and contents of the letter sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un to the participants in the congress and further strengthening the GFTUK into a mass political organization of the working class faithful to the Party, the powerful combat force for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Explained at the workshop were the basic contents of Kim Jong Un's letter "The Duty of the Working Class of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the Times and the Tasks Facing Trade Union Organizations".

The workshop underlined to firmly defend, preserve and eternally glorify the leadership feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in the work of the GFTUK.

The speakers underscored the need for the GFTUK to fully perform its mission and duty as befits the mass political organization of the heroic working class of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the on-going general offensive to hasten the final victory in the drive for building a powerful socialist country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
