She was born as a daughter of poor farmer in Puhung-ri, Huichon City, Jagang Province. She lived in grief as a member of a stateless nation, subject to maltreatment and contempt. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a worthy life.

She worked hard as an agricultural worker to live up even a bit to the benevolence shown by the Party and the leader who put forward farmers as landowner.

She brought up six sons and daughters to send them to country-defending posts and difficult fields, and help them fulfill their duties.

She has a balanced diet while keeping herself optimistic.
