The Seoul Jongro Police Station announced the retraction of autopsy on Paek and handed his body to the bereaved family on Oct. 28.

The Headquarters of Struggle for Paek Nam Gi declared this is a victory won by the people in their actions against the puppet authorities' unreasonable moves.

Asserting the police is wholly to blame for the killing of Paek and the prosecution shunning its investigation into the case has lost its qualifications, the organization urged the "National Assembly" to opt for a special investigation to probe the truth behind it.
