Minju Joson Urges U.S. to Make Switchover in Its Policy towards DPRK

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Many media and experts of the world often comment that the U.S. has completely failed in its attempt to prevent the DPRK from having access to nukes and it is racking its brains over what relations it should have with the DPRK which has dramatically improved its strategic position. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday says that as world public comments, the DPRK has accomplished its historic cause of ranking itself among the nuclear weapons states by successfully frustrating the U.S. harsh economic sanctions against the DPRK and the U.S. strategy of isolating and stifling it. It is needless to say that the key to this miracle is that the DPRK has consistently adhered to the line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of the nuclear force. Now that the line has proved to be the most just one to safeguard the sovereignty of the country and the peace and security of the region, the DPRK will continue to keep to the road chosen by itself no matter what others may say. The U.S. has no strength to bar the strategic position and national power of the DPRK from increasing day by day. The U.S. has been placed in a dilemma in dealing with the issue of the DPRK-U.S. ties and its position is getting poor as the days go by. This is attributable to its ignorance of its rival and self-complacency. The U.S. has behaved arrogantly holding cheap the DPRK, a dignified nuclear giant. Herein lies the U.S. mistake in the policy. The U.S. self-assurance and the consciousness of its supremacy will bring it to its self-ruin. The U.S. had better learn before anything else to respect the DPRK, its rival. It would be well advised to abandon its failed policy towards the DPRK and make a switchover in it. This is the only way to escape its fate of ruin. |
