Rodong Sinmun Flays Ban Ki-moon's Invective against DPRK

Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Ban Ki-moon recently cried out for rapidly adopting a UN "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its measures for bolstering up its nuclear force. Spouting a litany of groundless sophism about "serious encroachment on human rights" and "watch" on diplomats and staff members of UN bodies, Ban let out invective that the issue of "human rights in the north" should be regarded as the target of international discussion. Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a commentary terms it a revelation of his cynical ploy to curry favor with the U.S. and traitor Park Geun Hye through his frantic moves to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK and thus realize his sinister political ambition. By origin, Ban is a hand-raised despicable lackey of the U.S., the commentary notes, and goes on: During his tenure of office the hostile forces' moves for stifling the DPRK have been further intensified at the UN than ever before and the situation on the Korean peninsula pushed to the brink of war. This would be unthinkable apart from his foolish pro-U.S. attitude. Ban has kept himself busy in the international arena, steeped in worship of the U.S. and sycophancy towards it and confrontation with compatriots, far from doing even a single good thing for the nation before stepping down as the UN chief. This is a bitter shame on the nation. He is seriously mistaken if he calculates he can easily seek "presidency," backed by the U.S. and the chief of Chongwadae. Ban had better know that if he remains a puppet of the U.S. and Park Geun Hye as now, he will not be able to return to south Korea as an ordinary man, to say nothing of seeking "presidency". |
