The Samdung Revolutionary Site is the historic place where President Kim Il Sung was elected as representative of the people in the first democratic election after the liberation of the country and Samdung is associated with the undying exploits of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.

The visitors paid floral tribute to the mosaic depicting the President, who visited the then Samdung-myon, Kangdong County, South Phyongan Province on October 16, Juche 35 (1946), waving back to the enthusiastic cheers of the people there.

They looked round the microphone used by the President when making a speech at the welcoming mass rally, cotton cloth associated with a touching story, cushion and other revolutionary relics there.

Through the visit service personnel, working people, youth and students keenly realized that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are the eternal leaders of the people as they built and glorified the socialist state centered on the popular masses on this land.
