Drawing the attention of the participants were IT products presented by Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Institute of IT Science and Technology under the State Academy of Sciences and other educational institutions and units developing programs.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Ryong Nam, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned and program developers.
