The ceremony for starting the camping took place on Thursday.

All the campers and teachers laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il at the Songdowon International Children's Camp and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, and other officials, campers and teachers of the camp.

A reporter and speakers expressed emotions and happiness for enjoying camping in the Songdowon International Children's Camp thanks to the benevolence of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They said that Kim Jong Un, who called them to the camp to relieve them from sorrow, is the real father of all the children of the country.

They said they would solidify the knowledge learnt at the school and train themselves sound body and mind through colorful activities.

There took place an art performance given by the teachers of the camp for the campers on the same day.
