The article titled "Genuine teacher of Hwasong Uisuk School" noted that President Kim Il Sung, who studied at the school and explored a fresh road of the Korean revolution, formed the DIU on Oct. 17, 1926, adding that there is no such great man who has been profoundly admired by all people century after century as the President.

The article titled "The DIU, roots of the Workers' Party of Korea" introduced the immediate tasks and final goal of the DIU.

It said:

The members of the DIU were the vanguard fighters of revolution who pioneered a fresh road of the Korean revolution.

They were passionate revolutionaries with the transparent anti-imperialist spirit of independence as they held Kim Il Sung as the leader of revolution, the sun of the nation and the center of the cohesion and unity in the early years of the Korean revolution.

The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) regards the principle of independence set by the DIU as the firm guidelines of its building and activities.

The members of the WPK always stand in the van of the advance for building a socialist power desired by Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and led by HE Kim Jong Un.
