In Kangwon Province, 4,000 cubic meters of earth were removed and 4,000 square meters of stones laid to reinforce the embankment along Jokchon Stream. Sepho County of the province successfully carried out the work to improve the 4 km-long road section.

Yodok County in South Hamgyong Province renovated bridges in Pyongyang-Chongjin road and built many protective walls in 7 km-long sections.

Such achievements were also made in Hwaphyong County of Jagang Province and Cholsan and Yomju counties of North Phyongan Province.

Sinyang County of South Phyongan Province repaired the embankments along the Piryu River and Phyongwon Stream in a week to prevent flood damage and built more than 20 sewage treatment plants.

Sinwon County of South Hwanghae Province is speeding up the road reconstruction in 4 km-long section at the final stage.
