On show there were more than 100,000 articles of consumer goods including good-quality footwear, ready-made suits and foodstuffs produced at light industrial factories, industrial establishments affiliated to ministries and national institutions and units for producing daily necessities.

During the exhibition there will be several shows, dissemination of new technologies and registration of February 2 goods"

The ceremony was attended by Vice-Premier Im Chol Ung, Choe Il Ryong, minister of Light Industry, Jo Yong Chol, minister of Food and Consumer Goods Industries, officials, scientists, technicians and workers of units for producing consumer goods in Pyongyang and local areas.

It will continue till Nov. 10.
