Minju Joson Flays Japan's Criminal Distortion of History
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The complete map of the Empire of Japan and the map for the course of the secondary education, a Japanese textbook, published by the Geological Survey Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce of Japan in 1888 and 1892, were opened to the public.

Those maps prove that Tok Islets have been part of the Korean territory historically.

The islets are marked outside the boundary of Japan on the Asian map in the textbook written by Yamagami who is a renowned geologist of Japan and an author of the geography textbook.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday says:

It is preposterous for Japan to raise a claim to the islets though they are part of the territory of Korea. This is an intolerable challenge to the sovereignty of the Korean nation and sheer distortion of history.

The Japanese reactionaries are making no scruple of tampering with history, bereft of even an iota of conscience and sense of moral obligation, in a criminal bid to dominate Asia.

It is the black-hearted intention of Japan to create conditions favorable for realizing its ambition for militarist overseas aggression by distorting history to meet the requirements of Japan.

The world is now well aware of what Japan seeks and desires.

No matter what rhetoric Japan may let out to justify its behavior, it will only bring its ugly colors to light. It is the top priority task of Japan to redress its past crimes and have a proper view on history.

It can take a right road for future only when it draws a lesson with history as a mirror.

Japan had better bear in mind that the distortion of history is not a way out and change its twisted mind as quickly as possible.
