The artillery pieces reflect the patriotic will of the women's union members throughout the country to make a contribution, small as it may be, to bolstering up the country's defence capability.

The presentation ceremony was held at the plaza in front of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum on Nov. 8.

It was attended by Choe Ryong Hae, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and the women's union, officials concerned, service members and women's union members.

Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the women's union, said in her presentation address that it was a proud tradition of Songun Korea to positively support the KPA, adding that the artillery pieces reflect the firm faith of the Korean women to steadfastly carry out the revolutionary cause of Songun started in Mt. Paektu under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

She appealed to the women's union members to love the service personnel like their own flesh and blood and sincerely support them and make a positive contribution to increasing the combat capacity of the KPA.

The presentation certificate was handed to an official of the ministry.
