Historical Sites and Relics Restored in Kaesong City of DPRK
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Citizens in Kaesong City of the DPRK have paid big efforts to restoring the historical sites and relics in the city to their original state.

In the city, which was the capital of Koryo Kingdom (918-1392), there are more than 110 historical sites and relics.

The citizens repaired in the principle of historicism scores of historical sites and relics, including the monument to the Sonjuk Bridge, Phyochung Monuments, Manwoltae, Mausoleum of King Kyonghyo and Sungyang Confucian Shrine. They also reconstructed the Kaesong Walls and the walls in Mt. Taehung.

In particular, they successfully restored a temple for King Wang Kon's Mausoleum and a shrine at Koryo Songgyungwan Academy.
