According to data available, those run by the Korean People's Army caught more than 10 000 tons of fish in recent few days.

From late October, fishery stations under the Ministry of Fisheries have raised their fish catch twice as against the same period of last year.

The Yanghwa Fishery Station caught more than 20 tons of fish at a haul to the maximum. Meanwhile, Wonsan and other fishery stations across the country are registering good results in fishing by introducing advanced methods.
