On show in the venue of the exhibition were more than 50,000 pieces of consumer goods of 1,590 varieties including grass work and daily necessities produced by housewives' work teams with locally available materials and by-products.

An opening ceremony was held at the new technology innovation hall of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House on Nov. 11.

It was attended by Choe Ryong Hae, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jo Yong Chol, minister of Food and Consumer Goods Industries, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the women's union, and officials and members of the women's union.
