New Protective Agent Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A new protective agent for fine art pieces of national treasure was developed in the DPRK.

According to Pak Chang Guk, who developed the agent, it is a patent product made of locally available special functional nano-composite shielding fine art pieces from ultraviolet, oxidation and mold.

It causes no chemical reaction to different painting materials and prevents color fading without any negative effect on fine art pieces. And it helps restoring color tones and has a good effect on preventing moisture.

As it has a wide range of application, it has been highly appreciated by many units, including the Korean Art Gallery, Korean Central History Museum and Mausoleum of King Tongmyong.

The agent was already registered as one of the national sci-tech achievements.
