On that evening, there took place protest actions including candlelight rally and declaration on the situation of Koreans in Washington, New York and other places of the U.S. demanding the ouster and arrest of Park Geun Hye.

Koreans in Japan also issued a declaration on the emergency situation demanding Park's resignation.
