Recalling more than a million people participated in the third all-people action on Nov. 12 to demand Park's resignation for the first time since the June resistance in 1987, the editorial said:

Park and her regime steered by the "Saenuri party" are hit hard from all sides and making desperate efforts but are bound to meet ruin due to its internal strife.

If Park makes a sincere apology, though belatedly, and steps down at once, she may pin hope on the popular masses' generosity even a bit, but if not, it will further precipitate the total destruction of the conservative forces.
