Traitors Are Bound to Be Cursed by People: Rodong Sinmun
|
|
Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday carries an article on the anniversary of brigandish "Ulsa Five-point Treaty" cooked up by the Japanese imperialists. The fabrication of the treaty on Nov. 17, 1905 unprecedented in world history was a criminal act of usurping the state sovereignty as the Japanese imperialists deprived the Korean nation of its sovereign right by the most brutal and coercive manner, the article says, and goes on: The Japanese imperialists, however, are denying their hideous crimes against the Korean people in the past and going reckless to launch reinvasion. This is another unpardonable crime for which the former has to pay without fail. Since its defeat Japan has denied sincere apology and reparation for the past crimes including the crimes related to the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army. Yet, it is stepping up militarization while totally distorting and denying the history of aggression with sheer sophism in a desperate bid to launch reinvasion. What matters is that the south Korean conservative group obsessed with sycophancy and dependence on outsiders are disclosing their true colors as a group of traitors putting the "five traitors of 1905" into the shade while taking advantage of the Japanese reactionaries' moves for reinvasion. They are working hard to stay in power in return for selling off the nation's dignity and sovereignty to Japan. It is the Park group who keep mum about the shameless moves of the Japanese aggressors to distort their history and grab Tok Islets and do not hesitate to commit such acts of treachery as supporting and acknowledging Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense," recklessly introducing into south Korea aggression warships of the Japan "Self-Defence Forces" and paving the way for reinvasion of Korea by the sworn enemy of the Korean nation. It is a bitter lesson taught by the distress-torn history of the Korean nation that if aggressors and traitors collude with each other in their criminal actions, the nation's sovereignty is bound to be violated and the people to be subject to a miserable fate under the jackboots of outsiders. Traitors keen on sycophancy and dependence on outsiders with their backs turned on the nation cannot escape curse and denunciation by the people even after their death. |
