The completion of the waterway project will ensure rich and stable harvest in a myriad and thousands hectares of land in Ongjin, Kangryong and other counties and fully provide those affiliated areas with drinking and industrial water. And it will be conducive to preventing the areas down the River Jaeryong from flood damage.
