S. Korean University Professors, Students Demand Park's Resignation

| Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- According to KBS of south Korea, 262 professors of the University of Foreign Studies of south Korea issued a declaration on the situation on Nov. 15 demanding Park Geun Hye step down at once. The declaration demanded Park probe the truth about the present situation and own legal and moral responsibility for it. 440 professors of Yonsei University also issued a declaration on the situation on the same day urging Park to lend an ear to the voice of the people demanding she step down of her own accord. There took place mask rallies of students of 15 universities in Seoul demanding Park's resignation. Candlelight rally of people from all walks of life has been going on at Chonggye plaza for the 19th consecutive days. It was reported that the fourth candlelight rally demanding Park's resignation would take place at Kwanghwamun plaza on Nov. 19. |
