S. Korean History Professors Warn Regime against "Introducing State-compiled History Textbooks"
Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Hangyore said that 561 history professors of 102 universities across south Korea made public a joint statement in Seoul on Nov. 15 urging the puppet regime to halt the moves to "introduce state-compiled history textbooks".

To force the secondary and high schools to use the history textbooks compiled by the power of the "regime" for teaching their students is tantamount to violation of democracy, the statement noted, and continued:

Unless the regime withdraws the "system of introducing the state-compiled textbooks", we will launch a campaign of rejecting the textbooks together with history teachers and citizens.
