River Improvement Project Hastened in Disaster Areas of DPRK
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons and shock-brigade members from different parts of the DPRK are now working admirable feats in the project for improving rivers in the flood-hit northern part of the country.

In Musan County of North Hamgyong Province, a project was launched to improve rivers extending more than 10 kilometers.

The soldier-builders finished the embankment of the township within only two days.

Inspired by their feat, members of the Ryomyong Street Construction Shock Brigade heaped up with over 48,000 cubic meters of earth in a 1.3km-long dike project of Chilsong-ri and carried out 70 percent of a total amount of gathering rubble stones.

Members of the Construction Shock Brigade 618 built up with 25,000 cubic meters of earth in a dike project extending 1.2 kilometers, while directing efforts into gathering rubble stones.
