The letter said that Koreans in Russia expressed indignation at the news that the politically-motivated scandal related to Park Geun Hye occurred in south Korea.

The south Korean people have no time to suffer disgrace and contempt as like today, the letter said, calling upon them not to be taken in by Park's trickery.

If Park has a mind of her own and feels a sense of shame and virtue, she should step down from office without delay, it noted.

The members of the confederation fully support the struggle of the south Korean people and all overseas Koreans demanding Park Geun Hye step down from office, the letter stressed.
