At the congress the name of the women's union was renamed and it laid a sure guarantee for firmly preserving the revolutionary character of the women's union and fully displaying its might on a higher stage.

The Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) is the crystal devotedly defending the leader regarding loyalty to the Party and the leader as life and soul.

Glorifying the proud tradition of devotedly protecting the leader provides the ever-victorious path of the Korean women's movement and guarantees a rosy future of the women's union.

The SWUK is the powerful militant organization reliably backing the cause of building a socialist power.

Today our women's union organizations and members have unanimously turned out in the drive to implement the ideas of the Party and protect its policies and faithfully uphold the cause of the Party.

The world does not know such excellent women as the Korean women who unsparingly devote their all to the society and collective regarding socialism as life and soul.

It is the unusual fortune and privilege for the members of the SWUK to carry on the revolution being provided with the most correct guidelines for strengthening the union under the leadership of the peerlessly great men down through generations.
