S. Korean Organizations Demand Resumption of Tour of Mt. Kumgang

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The Emergency Measure Committee of Enterprises for South-North Economic Cooperation and the Council of Businessmen of Mt. Kumgang in south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the puppet regime in Seoul on Nov. 18 demanding the resuming of the tour of Mt. Kumgang.

At the press conference, the speakers said that the tour of Mt. Kumgang which was started 18 years ago was a historic work that linked the sea and land routes for the first time in the land of Korea divided into the south and the north.

The suspension of the tour of Mt. Kumgang escalated the conflict between the north and the south, they noted, adding that the regime should resume the tour and ensure the right to existence of the businessmen of south Korea involved in economic cooperation.
