Such media activities in south Korea are the just and righteous actions to fully discharge their responsibility and role as the mouthpieces of justice and truth and pioneers in the era.

Almost all media of south Korea gave wide publicity to the Nov. 12 one million-people candlelight rally called "November resistance for democracy" all at once, fully reflecting the people's demand for traitor Park's resignation.

This stands in sharp contrast to the time when "media disaster" as serious as the ferry Sewol sinking occurred in 2014. At that time the Park group gagged fair media through fascist violence and let ultra-right conservative media mislead public opinion.

Many media institutions in south Korea including the Media Trade Union, the Journalists Association, the Association of Broadcasting Technicians, the Citizens Association for Democratic Media and the Citizens Solidarity for Media Reforms formed the Measure Council for Emergency Situation of Media Organizations to join in the actions of people of all socials standings.

Some right-wing conservative media are working overtly and covertly to patronize the Park group while adjusting the scope of news coverage in a bid to dampen the spirit of people from all walks of life participating in actions but this is a foolish act of those who are unable to judge the trend of the times.

The south Korean people's mindset has already passed an irreversible stern judgment on traitor Park.
