Javid Ahmad, chairman of the Kuwaiti preparatory committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

It decided to inform people of his revolutionary career and feats through media and significantly organize a seminar, remembrance meeting, film show and other political and cultural events between Nov. 17 and Dec. 17.
