S. Korean People, Overseas Koreans Stage Strong Actions for Park Geun Hye's Resignation

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- According to Yonhap News and other media of south Korea, the Minju Party of south Korea formed the "Taejon City Party and Sejong City Party Headquarters of the People's Sovereignty Movement for Resignation of President Park Geun Hye" in Taejon City on Nov. 21 with the representative, the executive chairman and the leadership of the party and its core members attending.

At an inaugural ceremony the representative of the party asserted that as long as Park declared a hold-out that she would not step down of her own accord, the people should oust her.

He said that if the "Saenuri Party" patronizes Park, the people should judge the ruling party, to begin with.

The former "prime minister" said that the "president" should be taken to prison the moment when she is taken out of Chongwadae.

The Council of Christian Churches issued a statement on Nov. 22 abusing Park of refusing the prosecution's investigation.

The North Jolla Provincial Christian Action for Resignation of Park Geun Hye Regime was formed in North Jolla Province on Nov. 21.

12 organizations of disabled persons held a rally in Youido, Seoul on the same day demanding Park's resignation.

That day the Situation Council of University Students held a ceremony of proclaiming university students all-out action at Kwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

151 Korean professors at 84 universities in the U.S. issued a declaration on the situation.

The declaration said media of south Korea should fulfill their mission and responsibility.
